Soccer scholarships cover all or part of club participation fees. Participation fees are the costs of participating in a recreation or competitive soccer league. These fees usually (but not always) cover uniforms, administrative expenses, payments to state governing organizations and, depending on the club, the stipend paid to a full or part-time coach. These fees do not include shoes and accessories, cost of transportation to games or tournaments, food and lodging; or soccer clinics or camps designed to improve technique and physical conditioning. Participation fees can vary significantly depending on the level of proficiency. The range is approximately $200-$500 for recreational league play, to $2000 or more for Classic or Premier leagues. Your $700.00 Challenge Level Scholarship will enable a qualifying player to be an integral part of that team for one year.
When you purchase a full scholarship, your name will be prominently displayed on the framed certificate or plaque presented to the player from the fund. Your name is linked to the scholarship utilizing product codes and other information in the shopping cart.
All Julian Brown Memorial Fund scholarships are allocated on the basis of merit and need. The selection of candidates is based on the evaluation of an application. Applicants are notified of the outcome prior to the start of the soccer season.
