Limoges Team Ties CUFC Team.jpgThe Julian Brown Memorial Cup soccer tournament is sponsored by the
Charlotte United Futbol Club, under the auspices of U.S. Club Soccer.  The tournament is held in April, in commemoration of the tragic accident in France that took the lives of Julian Brown and Matthew Helms. The tournament has primarily drawn teams from eastern seaboard states and France.   In 2007, it hosted 225 teams, and is considered one of the most competitive youth tournaments in the region. In 2008, the fourth annual tournament launched with more than 270 teams!

The Julian Brown Memorial Cup is a fundraising effort for the Julian BrownCOACH FROM READING ENGLAND.jpg Memorial Fund.  You can support the Fund by supporting the tournament.   All donations offset the hard dollar costs of the tournament. You can participate by making a financial contribution by clicking the DONATE NOW icon on the right side of this page, or by purchasing items from our Gift Catalog.

We invite businesses to support the Julian Brown Memorial Cup. The tournament is a premier youth athletic event, and attracts newspaper and television coverage.  Direct tournament participants, parents, referees, coaches, team managers and spectators number in excess of 6000.
