New Web Site Launched!

 

The Julian Brown Memorial Fund announces the launch of a new website, designed to bring you news of interest regarding matters of scholarship, athleticism and character. The site also makes it easy to donate to one or more of the programs that we support, by utilizing real-time authorization approval for all contributions of $10.00 or more. Additionally, the site features a gift catalog, offering products, scholarships or services that can be purchased on behalf of a deserving child or teen.  The gift catalog is supported by feature rich, open source shopping cart software.

The decision to launch the site was based on expansion of the fund’s electronic footprint.  Now, anyone with a computer and access to the web, can see what we support and why.  Naturally, we hope that people will like what they see, and make a contribution in the process.

We also wanted to make sure that the site contained the functionality required to communicate with our donors, supporters and partners.  Consequently, we decided to incorporate an online newsletter, a WordPress blog, and a MySpace social networking presence. You can also contact us directly, using an installed e-mail program.

In the coming months we will leverage each of these tools to solicit your support and advocate on behalf of extraordinary children and teens.  Enjoy!
